Dynamic Non-Linear Display (DNLD)

Software (GCS/Autonomy/Mapping)

Description

DNLD is a patented set of algorithms (by Marinvent) for displaying rapidly changing graphical instrument information with extreme precision across a broad display range. It dynamically and non-linearly scales display axes so the current-value region remains highly legible while preserving meaningful end-points and trend predictors. Key use cases include airspeed, altitude and heading instruments in manned aircraft cockpits, military land and sea vehicle displays, unmanned vehicle control station displays, and simulators. Target users are avionics integrators, display OEMs, control-station software developers, and simulation/tooling providers.
