SCRAB II
Description
The SCRAB II is an aerial target drone used for training weapon systems operators of anti-aircraft and air-to-air systems, as well as for calibration and assessment of such systems. It is designed for price, performance, and easy operation/maintenance, capable of operating over land and sea. Powered by a twin jet engine using heavy fuels (Jet A-1, JP-5, JP-8, paraffin), it provides high-speed performance and can reach altitudes unreachable by other engines. The system features a state-of-the-art autopilot for autonomous flight from takeoff to recovery, with data link range over 100 km. A single operator can control up to 4 UAVs simultaneously from a Ground Control Station.
