Description
FlySmart I is a certifiable fly-by-wire flight control system developed for EASA CS23/Class I & II aircraft. It has been integrated into a Diamond DA42 test aircraft and evaluated in flight tests, achieving a successful automatic landing on 2015-08-26. The system supports both manual piloting with continuous flight-envelope protection and highly automated flight (AutoTakeoff, AutoCruise, AutoLand) using 4D trajectory guidance with redundant, fault-tolerant design.
