Description

RPAS23-CP is a platform-based flight control system developed for certifiable Remotely Piloted Air Systems (RPAS) and Unmanned Air Systems (UAS), targeting EASA CS-23, CS-27 helicopters and eVTOLs. The program includes a certifiable flight control platform and the safety-critical part of a ground control station designed to meet avionics certification requirements and handle normal, contingency (e.g., loss of C2 link) and emergency (e.g., engine failure) procedures. The platform has been integrated into a Cirrus SR22 test aircraft and flight tests began in July 2024 with a safety pilot; automatic takeoff/landing validation is ongoing and unmanned flights are planned for late 2026.
