VITE is a modular test environment for verifying and integrating complex embedded vehicle/avionics systems across development phases (SiL, HiL and in-vehicle). It provides a central real-time data model (GREATEN), real-time logging, event-driven logging, HiL model integration, distributed real-time debugging (SPY), a Java-based GUI (GVITE) for control/visualization and a runtime (SVITE) that can run in virtual machines, test racks or as embedded flight-recorder hardware.
