Description

The LRC6201 Lighting Radio Controller is a VHF-based ground-based system designed for remote control of airport runway and helipad lighting at uncontrolled airfields. It enables pilots to activate lighting systems directly from their cockpit by pressing the transmit key on the specified VHF frequency, following ICAO recommendations. The system includes the LRX6201 remote controlled receiver based on Becker's established 6201 VHF transceiver series technology, providing automatic runway lighting activation with configurable timing settings and enhanced safety for airport operations.
