In-person 4-day hands-on workshop for school students (Drone Nuggets) that teaches participants to fly an actual drone and introduces coding of autopilots. Designed for beginner learners (grades 3–12), the program covers practical flight practice under instructor supervision, basic flight principles and aerodynamics, pre-flight checks and safety, and introductory autopilot coding to create simple autonomous behaviors. Key outcomes: safe manual piloting of a small drone, basic understanding of autopilot logic and coding, and strengthened STEM and problem-solving skills.
