Communication & Data Links

Description

The Hook-on Device (HOD) is an LTE modem designed for UAS traffic management systems. It enables beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) drone operations by transmitting position, camera, and sensor data via mobile telephony while receiving control and mission data. The HOD also receives transponder signals via ADS-B and FLARM collision avoidance systems, providing essential tracking technology for safe drone integration into airspace.
