Description

The German Rescue Robotics Center (DRZ) is an officially designated examination center by the German Federal Aviation Office (LBA) for obtaining and renewing the A2 remote pilot certificate for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the open category (subcategory A2). The training is designed for emergency services from authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS) as well as specialists and managers from companies, industry and trade. It covers safe, legally compliant and efficient drone operation with focus on inspection, construction monitoring, perimeter protection, photography/video production, and mapping/geodata collection. The program includes theoretical knowledge and practical skills taught by active UAS pilots with extensive flight experience from research, fire department, rescue services and the DRZ's robotic task force.
