Description

Duryea's power electronics are DC-DC converters including buck regulators (step down voltage) and boost regulators (step up voltage). These devices feature a two-stage power conversion topology with interleaved phases working in parallel to reduce current ripple and minimize bus capacitance requirements. The latest product has ratings of 36VDC nominal and 300A continuous, with dimensions of 6.25" x 3.25" x 4" and weight of 2.5 lbs. They support buck, boost, and throttle (with regeneration) modes with selectable voltage and current limits. Applications include battery charging, regenerative braking, and Integrated Starter/Alternator (ISA) systems.
