The FALCON XL HELIPOD is an aerial methane detection system specifically adapted for Robinson helicopters. Using TDLAS Class 1 laser technology, it detects CH₄/methane for pipeline inspection applications. The system is FAA-approved and Supplemental Type Certified (STC) for Robinson R44 helicopters, with field approval available for R66 models. It enables efficient pipeline leak surveys at lower airspeeds and altitudes, making it ideal for distribution pipelines with curves and bends.
