Due Regard Radar (DRR)
Description
The Due Regard Radar (DRR) is an air-to-air collision avoidance radar that enables Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) to detect and track air traffic within the same field of view as manned aircraft. As a critical component of GA-ASI's Detect and Avoid (DAA) System, the DRR provides collision avoidance capabilities by tracking cooperative and non-cooperative aircraft, allowing pilots to maintain safe separation from other air traffic in coordination with Air Traffic Control. Key features include Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) technology for multi-target tracking, tactical weather detection capability, and enabling due regard operations in international airspace.
