The Laser Airborne Communication Terminal (LAC-12) is a high-performance, open-architecture sensor that provides game-changing laser communications with low probability of intercept and detection. It features anti-jamming technology with 300 times the data carrying capacity of conventional RF satellite communications, delivering user data rates greater than 1 Gbps. The system enables air-to-space, air, ground, and maritime relay connectivity, serving as a gateway to the Joint Aerial Network for forward deployed forces.
