WTS-SO Wireless Interface with ASCII Serial Output

Communication & Data Links

Description

Gateway/interface module for the WTS modular telemetry system that provides user-defined ASCII serial output ( configurable report containing live values and sums of up to eight WTS transmitters). Supports RS232 and RS485 serial connectivity, configurable baud rates via DIP switches or WTS Toolkit software, and is used to feed data to printers, displays, PCs, PLCs and other receivers. Typical use cases: industrial test & measurement, weighing, remote sensor telemetry and integration into automation systems. Wireless range up to 800 m under typical LOS conditions.

Integration notes
Connect power and serial (RS232 or 2-wire RS485) to operate. Baud rate and serial mode (RS232/RS485) selectable via DIP switches; WTS Toolkit software can configure report format and select associated transmitters. Supports summing of up to eight WTS transmitters. Note: RS485 implementation is 2-wire (not compatible with 4-wire RS485 buses). Use highest practical baud rate to avoid serial buffer loss.
