Description

The BMS-16i is a passive cell balancing battery management system designed for Li-Pol, Li-Ion, LiFePO4, and other cell types with 1.8-5V operating range per cell. It manages up to 16 cells per module with system scalability to 128 cells in series (8 modules) supporting up to 540V maximum system voltage. Key features include cell balancing up to 850mA, CAN and RS485 communication, temperature monitoring, state of charge calculation, and firmware update capability. It protects batteries and extends lifetime by monitoring voltage, current, temperature, and controlling charging/discharging cycles.
