Description

The BMS-8i is a battery management system designed for LiPol, Li-Ion, and LiFePO4 cells with an operational voltage range of 1.8V to 5V per cell. It protects batteries and extends their lifetime by measuring operational temperatures, capacity, voltage, and current flow. The system manages cell balancing, monitors thermal behavior, communicates with superior systems, and controls relays and contactors. It can operate with up to 8 cells in series per module and can be chained with up to 8 modules (1 master + 7 slaves) for a maximum of 64 cells and 270V system voltage.
