Description

The BASSET UAV is a fixed-wing demonstrator developed and flight-tested by NextGen under an AFRL Phase III SBIR. It is a 750 lb class aircraft designed to demonstrate structure-integrated antenna concepts and survivable ISR/telecom payload carriage. The program included concept, detailed design, fabrication and flight test of a platform intended for large-antenna integration and defense/ISR experimentation.
