PA-890 EVTOL Slowed Rotor Winged Compound
Description
The PA-890 eVTOL is an all-electric-powered Slowed-Rotor Winged Compound helicopter designed for commercial applications including Emergency Medical Services (EMS), On-Demand Logistics (ODL), and On-Demand Mobility (ODM) personnel transport. It features a large four-bladed main rotor, variable incidence wing that rotates up to 90 degrees for efficient hovering, and swiveling tail rotor for anti-torque and forward propulsion. The aircraft achieves 50% reduction in operating costs, reduced noise, and zero direct emissions compared to fossil-fuel helicopters, with excellent hover performance and decreased noise signature for urban operations. It seats five passengers with a large baggage compartment and is designed for FAA Part 27 certification.
