The PA-890 eVTOL is an all-electric powered Slowed-Rotor Winged Compound helicopter designed for commercial applications. It features a large four-bladed main rotor, variable incidence wing that rotates up to 90 degrees for efficient hovering, and swiveling tail rotor for anti-torque and forward propulsion. The aircraft seats five passengers and includes a large baggage compartment, with cabin configurations adaptable for various missions. It offers 50% reduction in direct operating costs, reduced noise, and zero direct emissions compared to fossil-fuel powered turbine helicopters. Designed for FAA Part 27 certification, it targets Emergency Medical Services (EMS), On-Demand Logistics (ODL), On-Demand Mobility (ODM) personnel transport, and Urban Air Mobility markets.
