PX4 Autonomy Developer Kit

Air Drones (UAV/UAS)

Description

The ModalAI PX4 Autonomy Developer Kit is an all-in-one autonomy development drone designed for developers working with PX4 autopilot software. It features advanced autonomy capabilities including Visual Inertial Odometry for GPS-denied navigation, Visual Obstacle Avoidance for safe flight in tight spaces, 3D Mapping and Path Planning for hands-off operation in dynamic environments, and TFLite Neural Networks for running object classification and detection models. The platform is SWAP-optimized with a 265g weight, 220mm airframe, folding propellers, and provides over 30 minutes of flight time. It's powered by the VOXL 2 onboard computer featuring Qualcomm QRB5165 processor with 8 cores up to 3.091GHz and 8GB LPDDR5 memory, integrated with open-source software including PX4 flight controller, OpenCV, ROS 2, and Docker.
