Description
A custom position sensor designed to monitor the drift angle of a tow-boat attached to an America's Cup racing yacht. The sensor measures 180 degrees of angular movement using just three internal measurement heads and is engineered to withstand harsh marine environments including wind, rain, salt water, and physical impact from yacht sails. Built using TMR non-contact sensing technology, 3D printed in SLS, and potted with marine-grade potting for extreme durability.
