This one-day course provides additional training on the techniques needed to comply with DO-178C, Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification. It covers the background and scope of four supporting documents: DO-330 (Software Tool Qualification Considerations), DO-331 (Model-Based Development and Verification Supplement), DO-332 (Object-Oriented Technology and Related Techniques Supplement), and DO-333 (Formal Methods Supplement). The training focuses on detailed instruction for DO-331 covering objectives, activities, explanatory text, and software life cycle data when using model-based development and verification. It also addresses systems requirements linkage to DO-178C processes through ARP 4754A interface.
