The SP-170 Series is a family of 2-stroke, 2-cylinder boxer internal-combustion engines with 170 cc displacement designed primarily for aircraft (approx. 60–80 kg MTOW) and proven in maritime operations. Key specs across variants include 9.3–11.7 kW (12.6–16.0 hp), torque ≈18.1–18.98 Nm at ~4750 rpm, and speed ranges up to 10,000 rpm. Variants include gasoline and heavy-fuel versions; some offer an optional starter-generator for hybrid operation and dual-spark redundancy.
