TFI2CADT01 - I²C address translator

Communication & Data Links

Description

The TFI2CADT01 is an I2C device address translator that allows connecting multiple I2C devices with the same address to one master device on the same bus. It uses XOR logical operations to translate addresses and is designed specifically for Pixhawk-compatible drones and UAV applications. The module solves the common problem of address conflicts when multiple identical sensors need to be connected to the same I2C bus, enabling applications like redundant airspeed sensors, multiple tachometer sensors for multi-rotor airframes, and distributed temperature/humidity sensors.

Integration notes
Designed specifically for Pixhawk-compatible drones and UAV applications. Requires proper I2C bus integrity - recommended to use ThunderFly's TFCABI2C cables to minimize SDA/SCL crosstalks. Not an I2C buffer, so corrupted input data propagates to output.
