AIRDOS03: Airborne Ionizing Radiation Spectrometer
Description
The AIRDOS03 (also known as UAVDOS) is a compact ionizing radiation detector and spectrometer optimized for integration with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Developed in collaboration with Universal Scientific Technologies, it uses silicon PIN diode technology to measure deposited energy of ionizing radiation in the 60 keV to 7 MeV range with 15 ±2 keV energy resolution per channel. The device enables high-resolution 3D mapping of radiation intensity and supports dynamic measurements in variable atmospheric conditions.
